New York City, a city with a reputation for being prone to bacterial infections, is home to some of the highest rates of STIs in the nation.
Here are the top six ways to protect yourself from getting staph.
Wear long pants, long shirts, and flip flops.
Long pants are great for keeping you cool and prevent your body from getting hot from a long commute, but the best way to prevent infection is to wear long pants.
There are three ways to do this.
The first is to put on a long-sleeved shirt or vest and flip it inside out, exposing your stomach.
The second is to wrap a long towel around your neck and wrap your arms around the side of your torso, so that you can slide your arms down your body to your waist.
The third is to pull on your pants with a pair of long gloves.
You can also use a long sleeve shirt, or a long coat, as a cover for your arms.
Keep in mind that you should always wear gloves when handling your genitals or during intercourse, because it’s very unlikely that you’ll get staph to spread.
Use disposable gloves.
When you go to the bathroom, wear disposable gloves or gloves that have a little padding around them.
Use hand sanitizer, not soap.
Hand sanitizers are good for you, but they’re not as effective at protecting your genitals.
And it’s not as efficient at removing the bacteria, either.
Use a product like Hand Spa or Aromatherapy, which is also effective at removing staph from your genitals, but not your mouth.
Wash your hands after using the restroom.
Hand washing will help keep your genitals safe, but it’s also a good way to protect your hands.
Use condoms and a condom-to-reusable reusable condom.
If you’re having sex while you’re using the toilet, it’s a good idea to have a condom with you.
But if you’re not, it might be a good time to get a condom to use with someone else, too.
Wear gloves when you go outside.
Wear disposable gloves and a disposable condom when you’re going to the restroom or walking your dog, as well as when you leave the house.
